제목 Nanostructured thin film electrocatalysts fabricated by nanotransfer printing and their applications for proton exchange membrane fuel cells
초록 Three-dimensionally nanostructured thin film (NSTF) electrocatalysts have been developed for proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) applications with the benefit from higher specific activity for electrocatalytic reaction, lowering expensive electrocatalyst amounts, and removing all durability issues with carbon supports compared to conventional Pt/C electrocatalysts. However, it is still a challenge to produce the high performance NSTF electrocatalyst and develop the membrane electrode assembly (MEA) technology as efficient as commercial ones. Recent research and application activities with the NSTF electrocataysts for PEMFC applications include fabrication processing of three dimensional nanostructures, integration into an MEA structure, improving proton conductivity, and water management. In this talk, our recent results from these activities will be presented.
