제목 Comparison of photorefractive effects of SWNT doped photorefractive liquid crystal cell (PR-LC cell) with didecylamine modified SWNT doped one
초록 Carboxylic acid groups can be induced on the surface of SWNTs through purification, cutting and other treatments. Using induced carboxylic acid groups didecylamine modified SWNTs were obtained and applied to PR-LC cells. In this study, photorefractive effects such as two beam coupling ratio, 1st order Raman-Nath diffraction efficiency and grating formation time of this type of PR-LC cell and SWNT doped one were measured and compared using the beam with the wavelength of 632nm. In addition, the change of PR effects of the PR-LC cells was measured when the length of SWNTs was largely below 500nm (centrifuged) and random (not centrifuged).
