제목 Formation of monodisperse hybrid silica particles: Effects of the concentrations of precursor and catalyst
초록 An effective and reproducible method of preparing highly monodisperse hybrid silica particles was studied. This study is led to the effect of a concentration of MPTMS (3-mercaptopropyl trimethoxysilane) and ammonium hydroxide (NH4OH) in the monodisperse hybrid silica particles that were synthesized through the one-step sol-gel reaction. When the concentration of MPTMS increased, the size of silica particles increased. In contrast, as the concentration of ammonium hydroxide increased, the size of silica particles decreased. The particle size could be controlled from about 1.2 μm to 3.6 μm.
