In this study, we fabricated inverted structured polymer solar cells (PSCs) by introducing a solution processable organic-inorganic hybrid hole extraction layer (HEL) that consisted of metal oxide (MO) precursor and conjugated polymer electrolyte (CPE) to improve power conversion efficiency (PCE) and stability in ambient air. After 3 days later, the hybrid HEL based device showed best PCE value, whereas PEDOT:PSS based device showed decreased PCE. The device with hybrid HEL exhibited enhanced stability in ambient condition (25 ℃ and 40% humidity) without encapsulation than PEDOT:PSS based device during 400 hours. AFM, EFM and XPS analysis were used to understand the relationship between surface properties and device stability. |
