Chemical modification of Urushiol Raw Lacquer for the Antibacterial and Anticorrosive UV Steel Coating |
초록 |
Urushiol is a major component in ‘oriental natural’ lacquer, and of which structure is a sort of catechol composed of two hydroxyl groups and one unsaturated alkyl chain. Due to the resonance stabilization mechanism of catechol, pure urushiol shows poor film formation and slow polymerization rate in UV coating process. Herein, we describe the chemical modification of urushiol with several mono-isocyanates to solve such problems. The coating properties of urushiol/UV, such as antibacterial, anticorrosive, and thermo-mechanical properties also will be discussed. (This work was supported by POSCO, 20096087) |
