제목 | Colloidal Biosensors using the modified Poly(acryl amide/styrene) Nanoparticle |
초록 | Abstract Biosensors based on colloids possess much larger surface, which can be utilized for many applications requiring high resolution and sensitivity. In this work the specific interactions between lectins and sugar hybrids, the synthesized GluNAc (N-acetyl-D-glucosamine) and glucose linked to the first position on the carbon of sugar, were investigated. The colloidal biosensor has been synthesized by modified emulsifier-free emulsion copolymerization of acryl amide having ether-linked GluNAc(or glucose) and styrene monomer. The GluNAc and Glucose play a role of immobilized probe, and WGA (wheat germ agglutinin) lectin and Con (Convanavalin) A were used for this study. Molecular recognition was done by surface pressure and electrophoretic mobility analyses, which depends on the degree of hydrophobic interactions between the surfaces of the colloids with sugars. |
