제목 Coordination between aminofluorescein and long emission wavelength fluorescent dyes for fabrication of ratiometric fluorescent pH sensors
초록 Aminofluorescein (AF) is a fluorescent dye with high quantum yield and pH sensitivity so that AF is commonly used for pH detection. However, in the area of fluorescence-based sensors, measurements of fluorescence intensity at a single band edge are known to be problematic in practical applications. The use of ratiometric fluorescence method is a useful solution for correction of a variety of analyte-independent factors in fluorescent sensors. Therefore, AF and other referent fluorescent dyes (e.g. ruthenium (Ru), sulforhodamine 101 (S101)) with long emission wavelengths are doped into melamine formaldehyde resin particles to prevent leaking dyes. The dyes are incorporated with the mixture of sol-gel (GA) and polyurethane hydrogel (PU) for fabrication of pH-sensing membranes. These membranes show high sensitivity, selectivity, reversibility and stability in a wide pH detection range (pH5-pH11).
