Scaffolds consist of PHBV and nano-sized HA were prepared using the salt-leaching and Hot-press machine. PHBV/HA was blended with NaCl by the melting blend method. The blends were compression molded into thin sheet of about 1.5mm thickness using a hot-press machine at molding temperature of 180℃. Then, the scaffolds were immersed into an excess amount of water for removing NaCl, and the collagen were then immobilized on the surface of PHBV/HA nanocomposite using an 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane(3-APTES). In this study, the preparation, surface morphologies and mechanical properties of porous PHBV/HA/Collagen were described. The potential for use of this nanocomposite as bone scaffolds was assessed by osteoblastic cell (MC3T3-E1) in terms of attachment, proliferation and differentiation. |
