Synthesis of poly(ethyrene oxide) and PEO-modified [60]fullerene |
초록 |
We successfully performed alkyllithium-initiated ring-opening polymerization of ethylene oxide in the mixture of dimethylsulfoxide and benzene with a living monomer. Not only molecular weight of the resulting lithium polymeric compound could be readily controlled but also a quantitative chain-end functionalization was carried out using 2-bromoisobutyryl bromide called as macroinitiator. In order to modify [60]fullerene, PEO-based macro-initiator was reacted with [60]fullerene using the catalytic system (CuBr, Me6Tren) of atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP). In this presentation, we will report the result of effective modification process of fullerene. |
