Synthesis and Characterization of Anthradithiophene-quinoxaline conjugated polymers for photovoltaic applications |
초록 |
Acene-based conjugated polymers seems to be interesting for organic photovoltaic cells since low band gap polymers can be readily achieved and the fused rings can allow good π-π overlap between polymers for efficient charge transport. On the other hand, quinoxaline has high electron-afnity and can act as a strong electron-decient unit in a resulting alternating conjugated polymer. In this study, anthradithiophene-quinoxaline conjugated polymer was attempted to synthesize, but the polymer was not very soluble in organic solvents and thus characterization was limited to only cyclic voltammetry and UV-visible absorption spectroscopy. On the other hand, an quinoxaline-based oligomer was successfully synthesized, and its properties will be also presented in details. |
