제목 | Synthesis and characterization of bipolar host using dibenzofuran moiety with high triplet energies for blue TADF device. |
초록 | It is important to balance charge carrier transporting in organic light emitting diodes to recombination efficiency and to have higher performances. Therefore, the bipolar host materials of the emitting layer should transport both holes and electrons for the charge balance. Bipolar hosts were synthesized via substituting a 9H-phenyl carbazole with dibenzofuran in 3,3''-di(9H-carbazol-9-yl)-1,1':2',1''-terphenyl [DCz-oTP], which is originally unipolar host material. The synthesized bipolar hosts are 9-(2'-(dibenzo[b,d]furan-1-yl)-[1,1'-biphenyl]-3-yl)-9H-carbazole [1-DBFCz-oTP], 9-(2'-(dibenzo[b,d]furan-2-yl)-[1,1'-biphenyl]-3-yl)-9H-carbazole [2-DBFCz-oTP] and 9-(2'-(dibenzo[b,d]furan-4-yl)-[1,1'-biphenyl]-3-yl)-9H-carbazole [4-DBFCz-oTP]. OLED device was fabricated by applying the synthesized material, and 1-DBFCz-oTP, a bipolar host with dibenzofuran at position 1, improved maximum efficiency, current efficiency, and power efficiency compared to DCz-oTP. |
