제목 Phase change suspension: the property of liquid-like to solid-like  in the direction of electric field
초록 Phase change suspension (PCS) is the converting material, liquid state to solid state, under the electric field. PCS in solid-like have the direction along the electric field and they are allowed to control as the external force. Due to simple manipulation, it has been studied in various field, damping devices, microfluidic chips, and artificial muscle. Materials dispersed in oil are likely to arrange between opposite electrode show positive and negative rheological phenomena. PCS with various ions at the material surface determine the effects, also frequency ranges occurring viscoelasticity of samples are different. Moreover, temperature is one of decisive factor in order to apply to practical use, because, change of temperature in the batch appear variable result. PCS under various temperature similar with actual use are required to be optimum condition.
