제목 Effect of Extraction Parameters on Flavonoid Recovery from Mandarin Peel
초록 Mandarin peel is a promising resource for obtainingnatural flavonoid such as hesperidin and narirutin. In this study, the effectof extraction parameter such as solvent type, time, temperature, and solid­­­–liquidratio on flavonoid recovery from mandarin peel was investigated. The extractionconditions for the most effective recovery of flavonoid from mandarin peel wereas follows: the solvent of methanol:dimethyl sulfoxide mixture (50:50, w/w), time of 1 h, temperature of 40°C, solid–liquid ratio of 1:10(w/w). Under these conditions, the recovered flavonoid contents were determinedto be 11.6 mg hesperidin and 2.2 mg narirutin, respectively, per g­–biomass. Theseresults are expected to provide useful information for converting mandarinpeel, food processing residue, into value-added materials.​
