Polymer Solar cells (PSCs) fabricated by simple and cost-efficient solution process have attracted considerable attention due to their potential for large-area, light weight, and flexible power source. Although performance of PSCs has been continuously improved up to ~8 %, poor stability, resulting from the oxidation of the air-sensitive Al and etching of ITO by the acidic PEDOT:PSS in conventional PSCs, has been emerged as a critical issue. To improve stability, interests in inverted device structure containing electron transport layer (ETL) between ITO and active layer have been increased. In this study, we demonstrate the inverted polymer solar cells hybridized with ZnO ETL produced by brush painting, which is suitable for roll-to-roll manufacturing process. We will discuss structural, electrical, and optical characteristics of brush painted ZnO and effect on performance of PSCs |
