In this research, we designed and synthesized metal-free organic dyes containing triphenylamine as an electron donor in their charge-transfer chromophoric system. The DSSCs were prepared with the organic dyes and the photovoltaic properties were measured to identify the effects triphenylamine based chromophore with different number of thiophenes as a bridge unit on the performance of DSSCs. |
