제목 Bistable switching of self-assembled block copolymer photonic crystals
초록 Photonic crystals are dielectrically periodic structure where forbidden frequency bands can exist for incident light. we use PS-b-P2VP block copolymer(Mw=95k) for fabrication of the electrically tunable photonic crystals. bistable operation of tunable photonic crystals, which allows for preservation of either non-reflective state or reflective state after state switching in the absence of power, is of prime importance because it significantly reduces power consumption of the switching device. we propose innovative approaches to realize bistable operation of our tandem PC: ferroelectric switching.
