Control of crystallization of perovskite crystals has shown its huge impact on the application of electronic devices such as solar cell, photodectector, light emitting devices, and so on. Above all, thin perovskite film has been mostly used for the fabrication of planar-heterojunction devices and the thin film was mostly fabricated using solution casting method. Under the solution process, extremely fast reaction between organic halide and lead halide has made it difficult to control crystallization of perovskite such as CH3NH3PbI3, resulting unexpected needle-like crystals leading to degrading device performance. In this report, we show that the crystallization of organic-inorganic perovskite crystals can be controlled using moisture vapor, especially during two-step spin-casting, leading to preferred orientation of crystallites as well as expansion of perovskite grain size. |
