제목 Study on Applications of Supercritical Fluid on Preparations of Microporous Polymeric Membranes
초록 In this study, microporous polymeric membranes were prepared by the phase separation process using the supercritical CO2 as a anti-solvent for the polymer solution.
The polymeric membranes were prepared by a Robe or melt-extrude method. They contained a little amount of PEG or PVA which was extracted by distillated water and supercritical fluid.
In a Robe method, the casting solution on the PEN film was located in a chamber and the supercritical CO2 was introduced to induce the phase separation. The dry membranes were obtained after the CO2 pressure was diminished by extraction.
In a melt-extrude method, PVA and polymers were blended by a melt-extrude method and formed a thin film. The supercritical CO2 extracted PVA and the polymeric thin film with pores were obtained.
The prepared membranes have a sponge structure and identical pore sizes(3~5㎛). The pressure of CO2(100~150 bar), polymer concentration, and temperature(30~60℃) had an effect on the average pore size and membrane porosity.
