제목 VO2+/Cu2+ Ions Immobilized on Sulfonated Carbon: Heterogeneous Catalysts for  Aerobic Oxidation of 5-Hydroxymethyl-2-furfural into 2,5-Diformylfuran
초록 Carbonization and sulfonation of Ino Exchange Resin Amberlyst-15, were performed to obtain sulfonated carbon material. XRD, TEM, Raman and elemental analysis revealed that sulfonated carbon can be used as a suitable support for the immobilization of catalytically versatile VO2+ and Cu2+ ions. Particularly, the Raman spectroscopy results provided valuable information on the structure of catalysts. VO2+ and Cu2+ ions-immobilized sulfonated carbon catalysts were tested towards aerobic oxidations of HMF to DFF. The conversion of HMF, selectivity to DFF, recycling performance and metal leaching have been found to depend on the metal composition of catalysts.
