제목 Fabrication of Inverted Structured Porous Polypyrrole/Silica-Titania Core/Shell Nanoparticles and Its Application as Efficient Electro-Responsive Fluid  
초록 Although metal oxide-conducting polymer-based composite materials has gained attraction as high-performance electrorheological (ER) materials to enhance the dispersion stability and dielectric properties, high density of metal oxides and leakage current due to the conducting polymer remain as major drawbacks. Herein, we introduce a facile fabrication strategy of inverted conducting polymer/metal oxide core/shell structured pPPy/SiO2-TiO2 nanoparticles via low-temperature self-assembly, a sol-gel method, and sonication-mediated etching and re-deposition method. The nanoparticles exhibited remarkable enhancement in ER performance due to low electrical conductivity, high dielectric properties, and enhanced dispersion stability. The procedure demonstrated in this study provides an efficient method for preparing inverted conducting polymer/metal oxide core/shell nanoparticles, showing great potential for the development of custom-designed ER materials.
