Application of Silafluorene/germafluorene -silane/germane Alternating Copolymers as a Chemosensor |

Silafluorene/germafluorene-silane/germane copolymers were synthesized from the reaction of dilithium salts of silafluoreny and germafluorenyll dianion and dialkyldichlorosilane/germane via Wurtz coupling.Comparisons of photobehaviors with other silafluorene copolymer derivatives were achieved. Polymers exhibited only luminescence quenching with nitroaromatic explosives, revealing that the excited-state energy of the sensor plays a key role in the fluorescence detection of explosives.
