제목 PA-UiO-66/PVDF Membrane by hydrophobic modification for organophilic pervaporation of PDO/IPA Separation
초록 UiO-66 is frequently studied because of its exceptional tunability and functionality in recent years. UiO-66 has a uniform pore that can generate molecular sieving effect, but conventional UiO-66 has less functionality than when tunable 2-Aminoterephthalic acid that acts as a linker is used. In this study, the purpose is to effectively separate isopropyl alcohol (IPA). Its amine groups are modified to more hydrophobic group by palmitoyl chloride. Successful modifying is investigated from FT-IR, EDS, XPS. And Polydimethyl siloxane(PDMS) is used as a matrix polymer, because it has a good sorption with less polar solvent due to its low polarity. Palmitoyl chloride modified UiO-66 (PA-UiO-66) acts as a efficient filler to separate IPA/1,5-pentandiol(PDO) due to modified chain that can appeal more IPA. And better organophilicity is observed from contact angle and it achieves better flux and separation in novel feed PDO/IPA (90/10 w/w) system.
