A Study on Synthesis and Characterization of PAAM-Cryogel |

The Cryogel has been prepared through a reaction of high molecular weight polyacrylamide with low molecular weight GA(glutaraldehyde) in appropriately frozen aqueous medium. Prepared Cryogel had characteristic features such as swelling, porous morphology, spongylike, nontransparent. It has been shown that swelling characteristics and morphology of the Cryogel is affected by the crosslinking agent concentration and gelation temperature. |
