The colloidal silica dispersed in deionized water or alcohol is chemically stable and has excellent surface, so has been used as a coupling agent, adhesion promoter, crosslinking agent and silicate stabilizer, etc. In study, we measured the particle size, pH, zeta potential, surface area, viscosity, etc. for the five types of colloidal silica. Each of the colloidal silica was coated on ceramic sheet and evaluated the adhesion properties, and investigated the effects of colloidal silica properties on ceramic sheet coating. |
