Development of High Toughened Epoxy Resin for VaRTM to Manufacturing Large-Scale Composites Application |
초록 |
Typically, RTM and VaRTM methods are used to manufacture large-scale products such as automobiles, aviation, and shipments. The VaRTM method is to install dry fibers in mold cavity and inject liquid resin in a vacuum state. VaRTM molding has the advantage of removing air bubbles from the inside of a product that can occur in the existing RTM molding process and can be applied with a variety of materials. Among them, epoxy resin systems can manufacture highly functional lightweight structures enhanced by glass, carbon, aramid and basalt fiber without post-curing. In this study, the curing temperature and curing time characteristics of epoxy resins used in these VaRTM molding were analyzed. In addition, the physical properties were evaluated by introducing functional additives to simultaneously improve the high toughness and mechanical properties of epoxy resins to satisfy the properties suitable for the various industries. |
