The Effect of Synthesis method and Particle size of TiO2 on Palladium catalyst as Cathode materials for Oxygen Reduction Reaction in DMFC |
초록 |
Asplatinum is expensive, much effort was invested to enhance its catalytic activity. Palladium possesses a similar valence electronic configuration and lattice constant to Pt and is tolerant to methanol contamination. Titanium dioxide is stable in acid solution. In our previous studies,Pd-TiO2/C catalyst shows better performance than Pt/C in fuel cell test. thus, we investigate the effect of physical propertiessuch as particle size on the catalytic activity of Pd/TiO2/C. We present here the effect of synthesis method and particle size of the Pd/TiO2 nano-composite towards ORR in DMFC. The nature and function of titanium dioxide in the catalyst were analyzed by TEM, XRD, EDS, CV, fuel cell test etc. Detail results will be discussed more at conference. |
