제목 Recevery Technique of Cerium and Terbium According to the Extractacts
초록 The high-purity recovery of rare-earth metals included cerium and terbium is difficult due to very similar chemical properties between adjacent rare-earth elements. A study on the efficient separation of cerium and terbium has been carried out by solvent extraction with amines and ammonium salts as the extractants. In order to improve the recovery of cerium and terbium, the effects of the following factor on recovery experiment have been considered: ⅰ) the kinds of amines and ammonium salts, ⅱ) the concentration of the extractants, and ⅲ) pH. Using dioctylamine and dilauryl dimethyl ammonium bromide(DDAB) as the extractants, the separation factor of cerium and terbium is 10 and 15, respectively.
