제목 Healable and recyclable polymer networks cross-linked by dynamic interaction of topology controlled poly(glycidol)s and boronic ester
초록 polymer networks are able to shuffle dynamic covalent B-O bonds through trans-esterification and re-esterification under ambient temperature and humidity conditions. In this work, dynamic covalent bond (B-O) was introduced by addition of 4-vinylphenylboronic acid into topology controlled poly(glycidol)s (PGD)s (i.e. branched cyclic, hyperbranched and linear PGD) and synthesized polymers were confimed by GPC and NMR analysis. Polymer networks were formed by photo radical curing process, which were analyzed by rheometer, DMA, scratch tester and tensile tests. On the basis of the unique topologies of the PGDs, branched cyclic networks (high degree of branching) healed the scratches in 1 h at ambient temperature and 80% humidity condition. The networks are also recyclable with pinacol in THF.
