제목 The Application of Chiral Self-Discriminated Photochromic Metal-Organic Frameworks in Photodetector
초록 Homochiral supramolecular metal-organic frameworks (SMOFs) crystals   were synthesized from alanine-based NDI ligands by solvothermal reaction. Chiral self-discrimination was observed upon mixing the two enantiomers with calcium nitrate. Upon irradiation with UV light, the conductivity of the resulting homochiral and heterochiral SMOFs significantly increased and their color changed from yellow to dark brown. This photochromic behavior was attributed to electron-transfer-related chemical processes inside the SMOF structure or by photo-induced radical formation in the NDI ligands. In addition, these SMOFs exhibited excellent photoswitching properties, which were related to the generation and depletion of radicals upon exposure to UV light or darkness, respectively. We quantitatively characterize SMOFs with redox NDI ligands with regard to their photophysical properties, and describe their photoswitching behavior.
