SIS Sponge as Potential Cell Carriers for Neurotransplantation |
초록 |
Small intestinal submucosa (SIS) consists predominantly of collagens type I, III and contains fibronectin, chondroitin sulfates, heparin, and cytokines, such as basic FGF-2, NGF. In this study, we manufactured that SIS sponge prepared by crosslinking with EDC and evaluated that neuronal cell cultured into SIS sponges for carrier of neurotransplantation. Schwann's cells (SC) and olfactory ensheathing cells (OEC) seeded onto SIS sponge that crosslinked 100 mM EDC and cultured in vitro for 14 days. The proliferation of SC and OEC into sponge observed MTT assay, SEM observation and H&E staining. The specific properties of SC and OEC were evaluated by immunocytochemical staining. We showed highly porous with good interconnected pore structure and attached cell into the sponge by SEM. The MTT and immunostaining results were observed that good cell proliferation and maintenance of characterization. Acknowledgement: This research was supported by the SCRC (SC3100) from KMOST. |
