제목 Solid-State NMR Studies of Sulfonated Polyether Ether Ketone Polymer Membranes
초록 Numerous polymer materials are under development to enhance the performance of polymer electrolyte membranes in proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC). Among these, sulfonated polyether ether ketone (S-PEEK) and its hybrid materials are considered to be one of the leading candidates due to their stability and high conductivity. The conductivity of S-PEEK depends primarily on the degree of sulfonation (DS) of individual polymer chains. Here, we synthesized seven samples of S-PEEK with various DS (42-66%) and studied the conductivity and the molecular motions of the polymers as a function of DS using solid state NMR techniques.
