제목 Fluorescence quenching effect of methoxytriphenylamine moieties on AIE fluorescent molecules by photoinduced electron transfer(PET)
초록 Recently, solid state fluorescence is an interesting research field because it can be applied to oled, dye laser and photoconversion film. The aggregation induced emission (AIE) is one of the promising approachs for achieving high fluorescence quantum yield(Q.Y) in solid state. Because the AIE-molecules can prohibit the classical planary luminophore’s properties that non-radiative energy transfer by π-π stacking and H-aggregation. However, a few AIE-molecules are showing comparatively low Q.Y in the solid state and many studies have been explaining that phenomenon as various reasons.  
In this study, we found dramatic fluorescence quenching effect in AIE-molecules and we proved that is resulted from intramolecular photoinduced electron transfer (PET) by electron rich methoxytriphenylamine moieties. For the proof, four DPP dyes, which have different donating groups were synthesized and their basic optical properties(UV,PL,QY,TCSPC), computational calculations were analyzed.
