제목 The influences of Ultrasound and Electron beam on the Polyamide-12 / Clay nanocomposites for improved properties
초록 We attempted to combine electron beam with ultrasound. Electron beam irradiation of PA 12/Clay was carried out over a range of irradiation doses (100600 kGy) in nitrogen. After that, Effect of various Electron beam was investigated by measuring rheological, mechanical and thermal properties of each sample. The nanocomposites morphology and clay dispersion were investigated using wide angle X-ray diffraction (XRD), Transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The decreases of the melting temperature and the area of endothermic peak were observed as increasing the absorbed dose in the results of DSC analysis. The enhanced thermal stability was confirmed by the increases of decomposition temperature by electron beam irradiation. Young’s modulus and Tensile strength were improved with the dose of e-beam radiation. Improvements of properties were due to the cross-linking of polyamide molecules in the presence of high-energy radiation.
