제목 An Ionic Polyacetylene from the Non-catalyst Polymerization of 2-Ethynylpyridine using 4-Bromo-1-butyne
초록 Functional polyacetylenes confer intriguing functions such as electrical conductivity, magnetism, chiroptical properties, high gas permeability, etc. The conjugated polyelectrolytes with pyridinium salts have been used as material candidates for light-emitting diodes, SERS (surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy) active π-conjugated polymer-Ag nanocomposites, unipolar WORM memory devices, and electrolytes for quasi-solid state dye-sensitized solar cells. Here, we report the synthesis of a new conjugated polyelectrolyte with 3-butynyl substituent via the non-catalyst polymerization of 2-ethynylpyridine using 4-bromo-1-butyne. The electro-optical and electrochemical properties of the resulting conjugated polyelectrolytes were measured and discussed.
