제목 Photoluminescence properties of silica-encapsulated ZnSe quantun dots
초록  Semiconductor quantum dots(QDs) indicate unique size dependent optical properties due to quantum confinement effects. As one of semiconductor materials, ZnSe has attracted extensive interests, because it has almost non-toxicity. In order to improve the quantum yields and the photochemical stability of QDs, they need to be encapsulated in silica. In the present work, the NP5 (nonionic)/AOT (anionic) mixed microemulsion system was employed for preparation of silica-encapsulated ZnSe QDs in order to improve the PL efficiency and stability. Then, temperature-dependent photoluminescence of the silica-encapsulated ZnSe QDs were investigated. The present results implied that the silica-encapsulated ZnSe QDs may have potential application as bioprobe in sensitive biosensing and imaging.
