This study aims to investigate the curing behavior of epoxy composites with indroducing ammonium polyphosphate (APP). In this work, we mainly observed the curing behavior of epoxy composites using isoconversional method depending on the amine modificaion of APP. Iso-conversional methods interpret the curing kinetic using several single-stage equations. The activation energy was given as a function of conversion without any specic form of the reaction model. Therefore, we analyzed the curing behavior using Friedman method, which is one of the iso-conversional methods. We found that the amine modification of APP promoted the reaction rate of the curing reaction of epoxy resin. The activation energy was decreased commensurate to the ratio of amine-modified APP in the epoxy composites. Furthermore, we observed the mechanical properties of epoxy composites.
