제목 Eutectic mixture enhanced CO2 capture of electrospun Magnesium oxide nanofiber
초록 Carbon dioxide emission have significantly increased in the atmosphere for the past few decades due to the continuous industrial activity which heavily contributes to global warming. Eutectic mixture (EM) promoted magnesium oxide (MgO) have been recently studied as a promising adsorbent for high CO2 capacity. However, typical MgO has irregular particle size resulting to unequal distribution of eutectic mixture. In this work, fabrication of fiber morphology is suggested for better dispersion of EM throughout the material. Nanofiber was prepared by electrospinning technique using Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) as the polymer template and decomposed at high temperature. The nanofibers are characterized by XRD, BET, SEM-EDX and TEM. The CO2 capacity as adsorbent and morphologies will be discussed in detail.
