제목 Effect of Non-Covalent Interaction of Porphyrin on Fabrication and Electrochemical Performance of CNT Fiber Composite
초록 Several studies have dealt with fabrication of carbon nanotube (CNT) fiber composites as an excellent material for supercapacitor application. CNT is known to have great degree of agglomeration, thus, acid oxidation step is employed to improve its dispersion. However, corrosive acid treatment is highly unattractive for practical applications. In this study, improved dispersion and facile fabrication of CNT composite via non-covalent interaction with porphyrin was investigated by TEM and spectroscopic analysis such as FTIR and UV-Vis. The enhanced electrochemical performance of PAN-CNT-FP recorded a capacitance of ~100 F/g, 10x higher than PAN-CNT, with ~60% capacitance retention even at 10 A/g and excellent cycling up to 3000 cycles.
