Ni-Ce/sulphonated carbon nanotube as efficient catalyst for hydrogen generation by hydrolysis of sodium borohydride |

The Ni-Ce/sulphonated carbon nanotube composites with different Ni:Ce ratios were prepared by an efficient and rapid microwave assisted solvothermal method. Prepared materials were characterized by electron microscopy, XRD, FT-IR spectroscopy, NH3-TPD and BET surface area analysis. Catalytic activity of this catalyst was studied at different experimental conditions for hydrolysis of sodium borohydride. Present catalyst showed excellent catalytic activity as well as recyclability. The high catalytic activities were due to synergetic effect of metal and surface acidity of support. |
