제목 Preparation and characterization of cellulose acetate film reinforced by cellulose nanofibril
초록 Cellulose acetate (CA)/cellulose nanofibril (CNF) film was prepared via solvent casting method. CNF ratio in CA matrix was variated into 3, 5, and 10 phr. CA and CNF were mixed in two different solvents, acetone and N-methyl pyrrolidone (NMP), with 10% concentration and stirred for 24 h. Then the solution was cast in a PTFE dish followed by solvent evaporation at 25℃ for 12h for acetone and at 80℃ for 24h in an oven dryer for NMP. Triethyl citrate (TC) and triacetin (TA) were used as plasticizers. The results showed that CNF has better dispersion in NMP which lead to a significant increase in tensile strength and elastic modulus up to 38% and 65%, respectively. The addition of CNF increased mechanical properties of the film composites up to 5 phr loadings.
