There are crucial global issues associated with infection of pathogenic microbe, biofilms in particular, which display a strong resistance to immune system and commercial antibiotics. Herein, Ag and Cu bimetallic nanoparticles on a GO nanosheets (Ag/Cu/GO) were fabricated using a chemical reduction method. Their antimicrobial effects against several gram negative bacterial species were demonstrated. Ag/Cu/GO nanocomposites were characterized by TEM/EDS, ICP-MS, and XRD. The fabricated Ag/Cu/Go had an effective killing activity against the three bacterial species at concentrations that have no cytotoxicity to human skin cells. We used microfluidic system and confirmed the interaction of Ag/Cu/Go with Pseudomonas aeruginosa biofilm formed in a microchannel to check the inhibitory effect of the biofilm formed by bacteria. In addition, we proved In vivo anti-biofilm effect and wound healing effect of Ag/Cu/GO when biofilm of pseudomonas aeruginosa was formed on the wound. |
