Novel biodegradable chitosan-tyramine-gelatine hydrogel/bioactive glass ceramic composite for bone tissue engineering |
초록 |
Hydrogels consisted of the tyramine-conjugated gelatin and chitosan derivative were obtained by enzymatic crossliking under physiological conditions using horseradish peroxidase (HRP) as a catalyst and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) as an oxidant. The hydrogel structure was highly porous and showed unique channelized morphology with an extensive branching of the channels. Composite of chitosan–tyramine-gelatin hydrogel with bioglass were prepared by blending of chitosan and gelatin with sol-gel derived CaO-P2O5-SiO2 bioactive glass gel. The prepared composite was characterized using FTIR, SEM and XRD. The effect of bioactive glass in the polymer-ceramic matrix was evaluated in terms of biocompatibility by using MTT assay and confocal microscopy based cell proliferation analysis. |
