Preparation and analysis of graphite/polyphenylene sulfide(PPS) composites for the production of high performance phosphoric acid fuel cell(PAFC) bipolar plate. |
초록 |
Graphite/polymer composite used in phosohoric acid fuel cell (PAFC) bipolar plate were prepared by using hot press. Graphite with good electrical conductivity and PPS with corrosion resistance and high heat resistance are used. Both PPS and graphite particles show hydrophobic properties and their mixture have good dispersion. In order to improve the electrical conductivity of the fuel cell bipolar plate, graphite with wider domains is used. Pulverized PPS was utilized for uniformity. The flexural strength of the composite by using PPS was improved by 80% as compared to the conventional fluoropolymer bipolar plate. Further research is underway on electrical and rheological properties and crystallization behavior for a better understanding of the role of PPS. |
