제목 | Diffusion Assisted Nano Carbon Films on Glass by Direct Growing under Metal Catalyst |
초록 | Graphene has been seen as an excellent material for electronic, optical, and sensor devices due to superb properties such as high carrier mobility, chemical stability, optical transparency, and low density. Currently, graphene films are best synthesized chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and solid carbon source synthesis methods, or they have difficulty yielding uniform bilayer graphene films directly on insulating substrates, as in epitaxial growth methods from SiC. However, the present growth methods need an additional lift-off step to transfer graphene from the metal catalyst surfaces to the insulating substrates. So we study that a transfer-free method of graphene directly on glass by carbon diffusion. C films were used by carbon sputter as carbon sources. The 100 nm nickel layer was deposited by Ni sputter on the top of glass and used as the catalyst. During the Heating process at ~650℃. When cooled to room temperature, graphene was formed between the graphite film and glass substrate. The nickel films were removed by FeCl3 solution, and graphene was then directly obtained on glass without transfer process. The quality of graphene film on glass substrate was observed by Raman spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy. |
