Recently, growing interests have been paid on new, sustainable energy sources beyond conventional energy sources such as fossil fuel, and the lithium ion battery (LIB) is of special interests in nowadays. So, various studies have been conducted on LIB components such as cathodes, anodes, separators, and so on. However, there are not many new directions for the ‘processing’ to prepare LIB. In the case of a CNT conductor in both anode and cathode, which have high electrical and thermal conductivities is normally difficult to dispersion because of its strong Van der Waals attraction between the tubes and π–π interactions. Usually, dispersion of CNT in electrode slurry is dependent on thinky mixer. In this study, the electrode slurry was dispersed using a three-roll mill beyond the conventional method, and the electrochemical tests were performed. Each CNT and Super P were dispersed to prepare lithium-ion cells, and both cells performed stable electrochemical results. |
