The CO2 reforming of coke oven gas for the production of synthesis gas has been studied over Ni-based catalysts prepared by the impregnation method. The different materials (Al2O3, MgO, CeO2, ZrO2, MgO-Al2O3, and CeO2-ZrO2) were used as supports for Ni-based catalysts. Among the Ni-based catalysts with different supports, the Ni/MgO-Al2O3 catalyst exhibited the highest catalytic performance. Additionally, the effect of Ni loading amount for Ni/MgO-Al2O3 catalyst was also investigated. The effects of supports and Ni loading amount on catalytic performance have been interpreted through various characterization techniques and related to the activity results in the CO2 reforming of coke oven gas. |
