As a method of generating electricity, the power generation method that imitates the transpiration in plants have been performed in many previous studies. However, this power generation method has problems with low-current and unstable voltage. In this study, by adjusting the solvent of carbon ink to control the adsorption amount of hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) and carbon black (CB). Water-evaporation-induced electric power generator was fabricated by dip-coating of carbon inks with CTAB on the compressed cellulose pulp. These carbon ink-coated compressed pulps were treated with UV light and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA). As a result of controlling the amount of CTAB and CB adsorption by adjusting the solvent, a stable voltage of ~0.91 V and a high current of ~429.78 μA were generated. |
