제목 Nanohybrids based on carbonized bacterial cellulose and Nb2O5 nanoparticles for asymmetric Li-ion storage devices
초록 Hybrid energy storage systems, combined with faradic and non-faradic electrode, have been widely studied for feasible power sources because of their high energy and power characteristics with stable cycling behaviors. However, their electrochemical performance is highly affected by energy and kinetic balances between the faradic and non-faradic electrode pair. Therefore, a special design is required to facilitate both high power faradic electrode and high energy non-faradic electrode. In this study, we prepared three-dimensional porous carbon nanowebs (3D-CNWs) by carbonizing bacterial cellulose with orthorhombic Nb2O5 nanoparticles (T-Nb2O5) to make a faradic electrode. And their electrochemical performances were characterized by half-cell with Li metal. Furthermore, asymmetric Li-ion storage devices based on 3D-CNW/T-Nb2O5 nanohybrid were demonstrated with cellulose-derived activated carbon nano-sheet as a high energy non-faradic cathode.
