제목 | Methaneslip reduction using Ru-based catalyst coated on metallicmonolith |
초록 | Methane slip from LNG engine emission causes a greenhouse effectthat is 80 times stronger than carbon dioxide over a 20-year time period. Inthis study, the Ru-based catalyst coated on metallic monolith for the catalytic oxidation of methane was prepared by dipcoating method. The ruthenium for coating the metallic monolith was dispersed by using γ-alumina secondarysupport. The catalytic performance of methaneoxidation was examined under the exhaust gas temperatures (350-450 °C) andGHSV (10,000-30,000 h-1) of marine methane engines.
