Conjugated molecules, particularly organic semiconductors have achieved remarkable advances in their charge mobilities, accompanied by microstructural development. The state-of-the-art organic semiconductor thin-films have non-single crystalline complicated microstructures, and their charge mobilities fall in an intermediate category of hopping and band-like transport. Therefore, it is highly challenging to delight the charge transport mechanism in various microstructures of organic semiconductors. In this talk, tailoring microstructures of organic semiconductors (single-crystalline, polycrystalline, and blend morphologies) will be discussed at first. Next, I will introduce Hall-effect as well as corresponding Hall mobility that is relevant to reveal the charge transport mechanisms in various microstructures of organic semiconductors. |
